Florida pledged Top 150 junior college tight end David Kenner of Lackawanna CC, Pa., over Kentucky, Kansas, Kansas State and Maryland. Rivals in-depth: Gators

Georgia Tech has a verbal from offensive lineman Kevin Tuminello of Boardman, Ohio. Rivals in-depth: Georgia Tech

Stanford pledged Super Prospect offensive lineman Mikal Brewer of Peoria-Centennial, Ariz., over Nebraska, Arizona, UCLA and Notre Dame. Others were Washington, Northwestern, Oregon, Oregon State asnd Colorado. Rivals in-depth: Stanford

TCU pledged Super Prospect quarterback James Battle of Denton-Ryan, Tex., over Kansas State, Tennessee and Colorado, among many others. Rivals in-depth: TCU

The USC Trojans pledged Top 150 defensive lineman Lawrence Jackson of Inglewood, Cal., over Tennessee, Miami-Florida, LSU, Washington and UCLA, among many others. The Trojans also gained defensive lineman Matt Spanos of Corona, Cal., over interest in Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Kansas, Colorado State and Fresno State. Defensive back Darnell Bing of Long Beach-Poly, Cal., has met NCAA entrance standards and will enroll at USC in January. Receiver Byron Williams of Cherry Hill-Camden Catholic, NJ., committed to Purdue over offers from Rutgers, Connecticut, Iowa, Minnesota, East Carolina, Kent State, Akron, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Temple and Vanderbilt. Rivals in-depth: Purdue
