Mississippi State pledged quarterback/defensive back/receiver Tyler Threadgill of Philadelphia, Miss., over Tennessee, Mississippi and Southern Mississippi. Rivals in-depth: Bulldogs.

Georgia Tech has a verbal from linebacker Phillip Wheeler of Columbus-Shaw, Ga. The Jackets recently gained offensive lineman Kevin Tuminello of Youngstown-Boardman, Ohio. Rivals in-depth: Jackets.
